Tennis star Rafael Nadal will return to singles action next week, as per media reports.

The Spaniard confirmed to end 2022 season with Paris Masters and ATP Tour Finals in Turin.

The Paris Masters will be his first competitive tournament after the shock exit from US Open in round of 16 earlier last month.

Since US Open, Nadal has played only one match, a doubles with Roger Federer in latter's last match of his career.

Nadal later withdrew from the tournament.

And post- the last Grand Slam of the season, Nadal has been down with injuries and amid news of birth of his first child, there were doubts if he would return this year.

Nadal has won a men's record 22 Grand Slam titles.

The Paris Masters will be held next week.

Nadal last played Paris Masters in 2020 but has never won it.
