Pankaj Advani to compete in Bengal Premier League

The snooker legend will be representing The Hurricanes, which are among the eight teams participating in the tournament

Mutiple-time world snooker and billiards champion Pankaj Advani is set to participate in the Bengal Premier League snooker competition, which will take place at the Bengal Rowing Club from Saturday.

Advani will be representing The Hurricanes, which are among the eight teams participating in the tournament. The organisers said Advani will be playing in both the Pro Am that begins on Saturday as well as the main round of the competition, which starts on April 25 and ends on April 29.

Magic Cannons, City Knights, Cue Magicians, Green Warrior, Dianamites, Shooting Stars and Dream Chasers are the other seven teams. City-based Sourav Kothari, also the World Billiards champion in 2018, will turn out for Green Warrior.
