La Martiniere for Boys were crowned overall champions in the inaugural edition of the Inter-school Sports Quiz, which was organised virtually by the Debanjan Sen Foundation.

Garden High School finished as the overall runners-up of the event in which 19 schools had taken part.

For La Martiniere, it was their all-round showing in the quiz that went on to make a difference. They finished on top in the cricket section of the quiz, called ‘Beamer’, while DPS New Town came second.

Even in the football segment, termed ‘Nutmeg’, there was no stopping La Martiniere. Garden High finished second in this segment.

In the general section of this online quiz, named ‘Touchdown’, it was Birla High School which stood atop. But though they couldn’t grab the top spot, La Martiniere ensured they ended second best in this segment which gave them further crucial points.
