Indian ace Lakshya Sen crashed out of the All England Open Championships quarter finals after losing to Mark Caljouw of the Netherlands 17-21, 21-16, 17-21 here on Friday.

In women’s doubles, Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy also bowed out, when the Netherlands’ Selena Piek and Cheryl Seinen defeated them 24-22, 21-12 in the quarter finals.

World No. 10 men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, had crashed out of the event after losing 16-21, 21-11, 17-21 to Denmark’s Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen in the second round.

In the men’s singles, Sameer Verma suffered a loss to Anders Antonsen, going down 20-22, 10-21 in the second round.
