Hannon’s friendless runner, Mojo Star (David Egan-up) — 51/1 shot — in the 2,400m Cazoo Derby (Group 1, British Champions Series) at the Epsom Downs race track on Saturday. Hurricane Lane, the second favourite, was placed third while trainer Aidan O’Brien’s 6/4 public choice, Bolshoi Ballet (Ryan Moore), failed to touch the board in the line-up that was reduced to 11 runners after the morning withdrawal of Mohaafeth (Jim Cowley).
