Belgium, the second-ranked team in the world, have crashed out of the Fifa World Cup in Qatar. And at the other end of the spectrum, Croatia managed to put a smile on their fans by qualifying for the knockout phase to face Spain in the Round of 16.

The two European powerhouses played out a goalless draw at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.

The Croats, runners-up in the 2018 edition, got the point they needed to move into the last 16 from Group F as runners-up. Morocco took the pole position after beating Canada 2-1.
