Arsenal have dropped two vital points in the Premier League title race, by being involved in a 2-2 stalemate versus Liverpool at Anfield, but remain six clear of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.

Gabriel Martinelli and Gabrel Jesus scored early for the Gunners, but then the Reds fought back, thanks to Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Salah pulled one back for Juergen Klopp's team shortly before half-time, but missed a penalty in a game of numerous narrow misses. His blushes were spared by Firmino's late header.

Title race

With this, the Gunners' title hopes hang by a thread.

If Manchester City win their game in hand, and also beat the Gunners at Etihad on April 27, it boils down to goal difference, which City are leading by five points.

Arsenal currently have 73 points from 30 games.
