East Bengal face Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Saturday when ISL-X resumes action after the international break.
After three straight losses, East Bengal coach Carles Cuadrat will be keen to put an end to this streak of defeats against a team that has historically got the better of them.
East Bengal have not been outclassed by a team this season, but they have been unable to capitalise on moments and windows of opportunities.
Cuadrat has imprinted his philosophy on the team, reflecting in their industriousness at the centre of the park. The team has the highest tackle success rate (75 per cent) among all sides but all factors will have to fall in place to get three points.
“We have to improve. We have worked hard during the international break,” Cuadrat said at the pre-match news conference.
