Injury-ravaged Mohun Bagan Super Giant will hope to return to winning ways when they face NorthEast United FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati in the ISL-X match on Friday.

Bagan came back from 2-0 down to eke out a 2-2 draw against Odisha FC on December 6 and fielded a second-string side in the 1-0 loss against Maziya Sports and Recreation in the inconsequential AFC Cup Group D match in Male last Monday.

While the failure to advance to the next round of the AFC Cup still rankles, Bagan will be looking for solace in the ISL. They are still unbeaten in the league — five wins and one draw — and third in the league table.
