Thursday’s three points will delight Constantine as East Bengal now get ready for the clash against ATK Mohun Bagan on October 29.

The visitors took the lead in the 11th minute after some diligent work from Naorem Mahesh Singh.

NorthEast United FC’s Mohamed Irshad got caught on the ball during the team’s build-up, which gave Singh an opportunity to pinch it from the full-back before laying it to the open Silva, who made no mistake with his finish.

Today’s match: Chennaiyin FC vs FC Goa (7.30pm, live on Star Sports)
