FC Goa toyed with Mohun Bagan Super Giant and cantered to a 4-1 win in the ISL-X match at the Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday. This was Bagan’s second defeat in as many matches and Juan Ferrando’s side looked completely at sea.

To make matters worse for the injury-ravaged Bagan, defender Brendan Hamill limped off after Ferrando had used all his substitutions.

Noah Sadaoui scored a brace, while Victor Rodriguez and Carlos Martinez got one each. For Bagan, Dimitri Petratos got the goal after the visitors had taken a 3-0 lead.

Sadaoui opened the scoring for Goa in the 10th minute when he converted a penalty. The 30-year-old was a menace for the Bagan defence throughout the game as he seamlessly switched flanks. The Bagan backline, though, was missing a few of the regulars due to injury and suspensions.

FC Goa remain in pole position with 23 points from nine matches, while Bagan slip to fourth with 19 from nine games. Bagan’s next match will be against Kerala Blasters at home on Wednesday. This match also will be tough for Ferrando’s men.
