Football is all set to be the cynosure again at the Salt Lake Stadium when Mohun Bagan Super Giant face Bengaluru FC in the second semi-final of the Durand Cup on Tuesday. The winners of this game will face NorthEast United FC in the final on Saturday.
Though football will be back, fans are barred from carrying any tifo or stuff similar to that at the ground, according to a directive from the Joint Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar.
For the players though, it's about staying focused right through in this pressure game.
From Mohun Bagan's point of view, even though head coach Jose Molina doesn't want to read much in his team conceding thrice in the quarter-final against Punjab FC, captain Subhasish Bose and the other defenders certainly have to be on their toes against Bengaluru FC's Sunil Chhetri and Argentine Jorge Pereyra Diaz.
Molina, however, may effect a few changes for this clash. Dimitri Petratos and striker Jason Cummings featuring from the start cannot be ruled out, while the midfield may sport a look with Apuia Ralte, Sahal Abdul Samad and Anirudh Thapa in it.
