Good news for Mohun Bagan fans. ATK Mohun Bagan Private Limited has decided not to do away with the iconic green and maroon jersey.
“The green and maroon colour is staying. That will be the dominant colour of the main shirt,” a source told The Telegraph on Wednesday.
So what happens to the ATK’s red and white colour? “That may not stay,” the source added.
The directors of the new board will have their first meeting on Friday with RP-SG chairman Sanjiv Goenka and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly in attendance. The name of the new club, the logo and jersey colours are expected to be announced after the meeting.
ATK and Mohun Bagan joined hands in January this year and the ISL side’s principal owner Goenka has 80 per cent stake in the new entity.
