Telegraph picturesAshburton Cup 2.0 organised by Arsenal Bengal (ABSC), an official fans club of Arsenal Football Club of England, lived up to its promise of providing the budding footballers with a platform to showcase their talents.
The tournament, which was organized for the second year in a row on April 10 at the Turf Air Plaza in New Town, saw the participation of 24 teams. The fan club fielded two teams of their own, besides a team from the Vivekanda Academy of Purulia, which is supported by ABSC and is made up of underprivileged footballers belonging to Santhal and Kudmi tribes of the region. The tournament saw a mammoth response, with hundreds of footballers gunning for glory.
