The first-half was a relatively quieter affair with both teams creating opportunities but failing to convert on most occasions.

The slippery conditions at Mohun Bagan ground did not help either. However, inthe 27th minute, Siva Shakti’s brilliant shot put BFC ahead.

The second-half saw a turnaround with both teams looking all charged up. Delhi FC were the more dominant team and in the 58th minute, their star player Plaza scored the equaliser with a brilliant header. The player from Trinidad and Tobago scored his second of the game four minutes later.

It looked like Delhi would run away with the game but Bengaluru’s Bidyashagar had other plans. He collected a well-directed cross from Harmanpreet Singh and netted the equaliser in the 75th minute.

Both the teams gave it their all to find the winner in the final minutes but the well-fought match ended in draw.
