A buoyant India will look to extend their winning run and seal a semi-final berth when they face Nepal in their final Group A Women’s T20 Asia Cup game here on Tuesday.

Minnows Nepal hardly have had any time to recover from the thrashing they received from Pakistan in their previous game on Sunday, the same day when the tournament favourites and defending champions India bulldozed the hapless Emirates side.

While India are primed to enter the last-four stage, Pakistan improved their net run rate with the comfortable win over Nepal lifting them to the second spot in Group A.

India have flexed their muscles in both batting and bowling so far in the tournament, and are likely to continue in the same vein in Tuesday’s contest.

If the swashbuckling opening duo of Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma fired with the bat in the victory over Pakistan following the bowlers’ excellent display, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and keeper-batter Richa Ghosh led the show in the middle order in the hammering of UAE.

The big-hitting Richa was in a destructive mood as she carted an unbeaten 64 off just 29 balls to help her team breach 200 for the first time in T20Is.
