Senior pro Anustup Majumdar made a comeback to Bengal’s white-ball scheme of things, after being included in the 20-man squad for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy (national one-dayers) that was announced on Wednesday.
Owing to his indifferent form, the 37-year-old was dropped from Bengal’s Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy squad despite leading the side in the two limited-overs competitions in a curtailed 2020-21.
All-rounder Sayan Sekhar Mondal too came back in the squad, which has one new face in Ranjot Singh Khaira.
