In Pakistan's match versus Scotland on Sunday, Rizwan broke Chris Gayle's record of scoring the most T20 runs in a calender year.

The swashbuckling opener went past 1,165 runs (36 matches), which Gayle had amassed in 2015.

Rizwan, who was only five shy of the milestone before the match, took 41 outings to break the record.

The Men in Green won the toss and opted to bat first, fielding an unchanged side while Scotland made two changes to the playing XI for the Group 2 game.

Teams:

Pakistan: Mohammad Rizwan (w), Babar Azam (c), Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi.
