Just when the game was about to slip out of Kolkata Knight Riders' hands, Pat Cummins stepped in with a 15-ball 56 to take the celebrations away from Mumbai Indians. KKR clinched the edge-of-the-seat encounter by five wickets, leaving the mighty Jasprit Bumrah high and dry.
Earlier, sent in to bat, Mumbai Indians scored 161 for four, with Suryakumar Yadav scoring 52 off 36 balls, while Tilak Varma chipped in with 38 in 27 deliveries. Kieron Pollard smashed an unbeaten 22 off five balls.
