'JBG Endura T10' cricket - Captain's meet and Greet

Captains of all 32 competing teams and the core committee met in an informal environment for an interaction that began with a interactive session and followed by dinner and live music

One of the largest amateur indoor tennis-ball cricket tournaments in the country, the ongoing JBG Endura T10 Cricket League – Team Banao, Khelne Aao,in association with The Telegraph, got off to an exciting start on January 14. Being held in order to promote team-building, cooperation and a healthy competitive spirit, a Captains’ Meet was organised on the evening of January 13 at the Turf XL Cricket Club, to introduce and acquaint captains of participating teams with one another and to share rules and regulations of the tournament.

Captains of all 32 competing teams and the core committee of the joint organisers, Jai Balaji Group and Speaking Mirror, met in an informal environment for an interaction that began with a meet-and-greet session. This was followed by a formal welcome for team captains where they were also individually introduced to the assembled company. Captains were also handed over their captain’s jacket and a welcome gift as a gesture of goodwill and friendship.They were invited to speak on their participation in the league and what they were looking forward to from it.

After an interactive session for captains in which they clarified doubts regarding rules and regulations, a formal declaration was made by them that no professional or hired player would take part in this competition for corporates. The evening ended on a note of energy and excitement,with dinner and live music.

Invited to speak on the upcoming tournament, Krishanu Mukherjee (extreme left), captain of team Muscles 12 and an employee of MRF, said, “Rules and regulations of the tournament were explained to us simply and clearly. It is good that match timings have been decided keeping in mind the working hours of people doing corporate jobs. The ambience today also gave us a feel of a high-class amateur tournament.”
