Members (life, associate and annual) of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) will be getting their share of tickets on Saturday for Sunday’s third and final India-West Indies T20I at Eden Gardens.
The BCCI had earlier permitted CAB to allow spectators at all the upper tiers of the blocks as well as the hospitality boxes for the final T20I. On Friday, the state association was able to obtain permission to fill up more number of seats for Sunday’s game.
Thanks to the Board’s permission, the seats at the backend of all the lower tiers would also be available now. In that case, a turnout of around 30,000 on Sunday is a possibility and the familiar Eden roar could be back.
Tickets will also be made available to the clubs and affiliated units of the CAB along with the agencies and sponsors. There won’t be any priced tickets though.
It’s likely that CAB life members, in particular, will be allotted the lower-tier seats.
