Gudakesh Motie registered his maiden five-wicket haul in Tests as the West Indies skittled Zimbabwe out for a paltry 115 in the second and final Test at Queens Sports Club.

The left-arm spinner finished with figures of 7/37 in 14.5 overs after Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat. Former captain Jason Holder also picked up two wickets as Zimbabwe’s first innings lasted only 40.5 overs.

What also hurt Zimbabwe was the absence of their batting mainstay Gary Ballance, who was ruled out of the game due to a migraine headache. According to a Zimbabwe Cricket spokesman, Ballance had been feeling unwell for the last few days and had not recovered sufficiently to play.

The Windies, though, aren’t in a great position either as they slipped to 133/4 at stumps on Sunday. Kyle Mayers and Roston Chase were batting on 8 and 5, respectively. Raymon Reifer (53) is so far the top scorer for the Windies. Reifer and Tagenarine Chanderpaul (36) stitched 73 for the second wicket before the visitors suffered a mini-collapse.
