Having lost five out of their eight matches, Delhi Capitals are aware of the tough road ahead as they struggle to stay in the race for the playoffs.
"We're not where we want to be for the team's sake. We'd have liked to win a few more games. But we've got to win the remainder (of the matches) to obviously compete in the finals. So for us, it's about doing as best as we can. Hopefully, we can play each game like we did against Gujarat (Titans)," Delhi opener David Warner said during a media interaction.
Delhi again face Gujarat on Wednesday. They had bowled out Titans for just 89 in the first-leg encounter. "We've got a little bit of improving to do, both with bat and the ball... Cannot fault the way the guys are training and preparing. It's just sometimes in the games that the execution isn't there. And we know when we take wickets up front and early, we're a very dangerous bowling attack," he added.
