Bengal pacer Yudhajit Guha has earned a maiden call-up to India’s U-19 squad for the one-day matches against Australia U-19.
All-rounder Samit Dravid has also been included in the squad for the multi-format home series in September and October.
Samit, the son of former India captain and head coach Rahul Dravid, recently played his first senior tournament — the Maharaja T20 Trophy — in Karnataka, where he turned out for Mysuru Warriors.
Mohamed Amaan, a batter from Uttar Pradesh, has been named captain of the 50-over squad, while Madhya Pradesh’s Soham Patwardhan will lead the team for the four-day games.
India U-19 will play three 50-over games in Puducherry on September 21, 23 and 26, followed by two four-day games in Chennai starting September 30 and October 7.
