ATK Mohun Bagan rode strikes from Roy Krishna and Marcelinho to prevail 2-0 over Bengaluru FC (BFC) in Tuesday’s Indian Super League match at the Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.

The city team, who are placed second in the league table now, have 33 points from 16 matches and are just one point behind table-toppers Mumbai City FC.

The deadlock was broken in the 37th minute when Krishna made no mistake to score from a penalty. BFC’s Pratik Chaudhari brought Krishna down inside the box by pushing him from behind and conceded the penalty.
