Cheteshwar Pujara praised Pant for his aggressive batting, which puts the opposition under pressure. He also reminded the wicketkeeper-batsman to be “a little sensible”.
“There are shots he should play and some he should avoid. He has to put the team first and be a little sensible at times. He has done that most of the times, though,” Pujara said.
The India No.3 batsman believes Pant will learn from his mistakes. “Sometimes when he gets out, he looks ugly. But he has a bright future and will learn from his mistakes.
“There are times when he can be a little more patient and build another partnership with whoever’s there at the crease,” Pujara added.
