Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has barred its office-bearers, committee members and all those involved with the ongoing Bengal T20 Challenge from getting involved in any fantasy league matches pertaining to the tournament.

The six-team meet is powered by Dream11, a fantasy sports platform, which was also the title sponsor of this year’s IPL.

The CAB’s directive, issued by its president Avishek Dalmiya, comes in the wake of betting and fixing allegations in the Andhra Cricket Association-conducted T20 league, held in Anantapur from October 23 to November 8.

In the CAB-initiated inaugural league, being played in a bio-secure bubble at the Eden, Mohun Bagan beat Customs by 17 runs in the tournament opener.
