Quicks Akash Deep and Ishan Porel scalped four wickets apiece and opener Sreevats Goswami hit an unbeaten 69 as Bengal recorded their third straight victory in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, beating Hyderabad by six wickets at Eden Gardens on Thursday.

Akash and Porel’s strikes first restricted Hyderabad to 157. Bengal did have a bit of a hiccup after the Powerplay, but Sreevats and Writtick Chatterjee (39 not out) took them home with 10 balls to spare. “I was confident I would be able to guide my team to victory,” said Sreevats.
