The Team India squad for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final versus New Zealand and the subsequent Test series against England has been announced by the All-India Senior Selection Committee, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a statement.
The announcement of the 20-member squad marks the return of Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, as well as Hanuma Vihari, who missed the England Test series after getting injured during India’s tour to Australia in February. KL Rahul and Wriddhiman Saha have also found a place in the squad, but their inclusion, according to the BCCI, will be “subject to fitness clearance”.
Rahul had been recently hospitalised after being diagnosed with acute appendicitis and Saha is down with Covid-19.
Kuldeep Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar haven’t made it to the squad.
