Bangladesh salvaged their tour of the West Indies somewhat by winning the ODI series. They had lost both the Test and T20I series which preceded the ODIs.
On Wednesday, the visitors decimated the Caribbean side by registering a nine-wicket win in the second ODI of the three-match series, in Providence. Bangladesh had won the first one-dayer by six wickets.
Bangladesh skittled out the home side for just 108 in35 overs after asking them to bat first. The target turned out to be a cakewalk for the visiting team as they finished the chase in 20.4 overs, losing just one wicket.
The Windies rode some early luck when openers Kyle Mayers survived a messed-up stumping chance and Shai Hope overturned an lbw decision. But soon they lost control of the game.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz had another successful outing with 4/29 as the Windies looked all at sea against Bangladesh's spin attack. Nasum Ahmed took 3/19 with his left-arm orthodox spin.
In reply, Bangladesh captain and opener Tamim Iqbal remained unbeaten on 50 while Litton Das was not out on 32 as the visitors reached home losing the wicket of Na-jmul Hossain Shanto (20).
The last ODI is on Saturday at the same Providence Stadium.
