37th National Games: Fourth gold for Odisha’s Pranati Nayak

Kerala women beat Karnataka 57-54 to defend their title and win the gold, while Punjab men won gold beating defending champions Tamil Nadu 105-103 in the basketball competitions of the 37th National Games being held in different venues of Goa.

In gymnastics, Odisha’s Pranati Nayak won her fourth gold medal of the games on Saturday, winning the women’s artistic balancing beam category with 11.733 points. Pranati Das of West Bengal secured the silver, her fourth of the games.

In fencing, the Services Sports Control Board clinched the gold in men’s sabre team event beating Maharashtra. Punjab and Rajasthan secured the bronze medals.

Odisha emerged 4-0 victorious against Chandigarh in women's football. In another match, Haryana outclassed hosts Goa 4-1.
