World Emoji Day: Facebook looks back at frequently used emojis

The FB has shared some of their stats on how this country has been using emojis to make their conversations more interesting

Emojis are always fun to use on Facebook, especially when you and your friends are in the middle of a pun war. From the Laughing emoji to the Dancing Girl emoji, all of them just add colour and vibrancy to your comments, making them more appealing.

With today being World Emoji Day, Facebook has shared some of their stats on how this country has been using emojis to make their conversations more interesting.

Globally, over the past three months, women have created more posts and updates including emojis than men have, but emojis are popular with all age groups, from Gen Z to Boomers.

It has also been reviewed that in the course of the past 90 days, in India the Syringe emoji has been used increasingly while use of the Face Mask emoji and Microbe emoji has gone down.

But hey, food is a part of all celebrations in India and the Food emojis have been popular for wishes on all occasions.
