It seems that the next flagship Samsung tablet will feature a notch. Reportedly called Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the tablet surfaced on a Samsung support page for Bixby and was spotted by 91 Mobiles.
The design that has come to the fore matches the unofficial renders of the tablet released last October, leaked images from December, and leaked details from WinFuture from this month. If all things stack up, the Android tablet will have a 14.6-inch OLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2960x1848 while the notch may house two 12MP selfie cameras. The second sensor could be for an ultrawide camera.
The tablet is expected to run Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and come with an 11,200mAh battery, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. There may even be S Pen support. Going by rumours, there could be three versions of the tablet — Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be the most powerful of them and then there will be the Tab S8 Plus and Tab S8. All three tablets are rumored to be powered by the same processor and feature S Pen stylus support while the S8 Plus will reportedly have a smaller 12.7-inch OLED display and 10,090mAh battery.
Though there has been no official announcement about the launch date, the tablets may launch alongside the S22 line-up, which is reportedly going to be on February 8.
