There will always be new devices but making them innovative will be solutions with a fresh perspective, something Samsung India has been trying to achieve as part of its initative, ‘Solve for Tomorrow’.The inaugural edition of the innovative competition is inviting applications from youth in India in the 16-22 age group, covering areas of education, environment, healthcare and agriculture.

Already, over 8,000 teams from across the country have registered for the competition in which three national winners will get support of up to Rs 1 crore and mentoring support for six months to take their ideas to the next level under the expert guidance of IIT Delhi.

Offering a push to the competition is a roadshow organised by Samsung India. The roadshow’s recent stop was at the iconic Samsung Opera House in Bangalore where enthusiastic young college students came forward in large numbers to identify problems that people and society are facing in the state and the country.

The students who came forward said they want to solve real-world problems such as collection of waste for recycling, reaching quality education to students in rural India, helping improve the quality of life for people living in slums, reduce fuel wastage and improve efficiency of vehicles, water scarcity and data security, among others.If you have an innovative solution, you too can participate.
