It’s that time of the year when air quality in Delhi is in the news for all the wrong reasons. But it’s not just the capital city which should get highlighted for poor air quality.

The air inside the house can also be problematic. Keeping all this in mind, Samsung has a new line-up of air purifiers that are IoT enabled and ideal for large spaces with coverage of up to 645sqft.

The new air purifiers — AX46 and AX32 models — have been designed with a one-button control that removes 99.97 per cent nano-sized particles, ultrafine dust, bacteria and allergens, besides destroying potentially dangerous volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including formaldehyde.

The SmartThings App enables the consumer to remotely control the air purifier and consumers can check the air quality and control other functions of the air purifier with the help of their smartphone anytime and anywhere.

The machines address gases, dust, chemicals, and various odours with purification capabilities, including Front Air Intake and Three Way Air Flow. The former is designed to draw air in easily. After going through the purification process, a power fan then quickly distributes the clean air in multiple directions using Three Way Air Flow. Also present, a multi-layered high-efficiency purification system to remove ultrafine dust.

The air purifiers can be bought on Samsung.com, Samsung exclusive stores as well as consumer electronics stores at a starting price of Rs 12,990 for AX32 and Rs 32,990 for AX46.
