Samsung is all set to host its next Galaxy Unpacked on July 10 to mark the launch of the latest Galaxy Z series foldable smartphones. At the event, the South Korean company is expected to showcase its next Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip phones, both of which have fuelled interest in foldable phones.
The company has opened up pre-reservation of the next Galaxy Z series smartphones and ecosystem products to become eligible for early access and special offers. Customers can pre-reserve by paying a token amount of Rs 2,000 and they will get benefits worth up to Rs 7,000 on purchase of the latest products. Further, customers can pre-reserve Samsung’s next Galaxy ecosystem products with a token amount of Rs 1,999 and avail benefits worth up to Rs 6,499.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will be hosted in Paris. “The next frontier of Galaxy AI is coming. Prepare to discover the power of Galaxy AI, now infused into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem. Get ready for a world of possibilities as we enter a new phase of mobile AI,” the company said.
Samsung was among the first companies to release a foldable phone and since then has maintained a solid lead in the segment. The company accounted for about 66 per cent of foldable phone shipments in 2023, according to TrendForce.
The July 10 event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel at 3pm CEST or 6.30pm IST.
