During the launch event of the iPhone 15 series, there was something very interesting Apple spoke about — Resident Evil 4 remake, Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and The Division Resurgence will be coming to the iPhone 15 Pro later this year and in early 2024.

These are games that are meant to run on consoles but the iPhone 15 Pro has received a performance boost thanks to a new chipset — A17 Pro. This is the first time that a console-level Assassin's Creed game will be available natively on iPhone.

And now Capcom has quietly revealed an October 30 release date for Resident Evil Village on a page for the iOS and iPadOS versions of the game. When we caught a glimpse of the game running on the iPhone 15 Pro a few days ago, the performance appeared solid and comparable to what you would get on a high-end dedicated portable gaming hardware like the Steam Deck.

The new games will be compatible with iPads powered by M1 and M2 chips. However, it will only run on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
