Samsung’s push with its foldable phones is paying off and the pricing of the new Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 will make competition huff and puff. Both phones will be ‘Made in India’ from day one.

“Our fifth generation of foldables smartphones — Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 — will see higher adoption from tech-savvy consumers in India. As part of our Powering Digital India initiative, these phones will be manufactured at our Noida factory. We are confident that Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 will help us consolidate our smartphone leadership in the country,” said JB Park, president and CEO, Samsung SWA.

Pre-booking of both devices begins on July 27. Galaxy Z Flip5 is priced upwards of Rs 99,999 (8GB+256GB) while Galaxy Z Fold5 is priced upwards of Rs 154,999 (12GB+256GB). But the pricing gets reduced a great deal if you consider pre-book offers. Flip5 will come with benefits worth Rs 20,000 (Rs 12,000 upgrade and Rs 8,000 bank cashback). For Fold5 benefits are worth Rs 23,000 (Rs 5,000 upgrade, Rs 8000 bank cashback and Rs 10,000 benefit for upgrading to a higher storage variant).

The pricing of Galaxy Tab S9 series is also on point. Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is priced upwards of Rs 108,999 (256GB Wi-Fi variant). Now consider the pre-book offer involving bank cashback and an upgrade bonus; pricing then will begin at Rs 88,999. For Tab S9+, pricing begins at Rs 90,999 (with bank cashback and upgrade bonus the pricing begins at Rs 72,999). For Tab S9, pricing begins at Rs 72,999 and with prebook offer pricing begins at Rs 58,999.The big surprise comes for Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic. The former is priced upwards of Rs 29,999 but prebook offer makes it start at Rs 19,999 and the latter is priced upwards of Rs 36,999 (with prebook offer, it begins at Rs 26,999).
