Skoda sub-4m SUV teaser

Skoda Auto India has just released a teaser picture of a new compact SUV that it will bring into the Indian market in the first half of 2025. It is to be built on the company’s versatile MQB-A0-IN platform, which also underpins the Kushaq SUV and Slavia sedan.

With platform-sharing, the new SUV is likely to be shorter than the Kushaq, but about the same width, much like other sub-4m compact SUVs in the market today in terms of proportion.

Skoda has said it will pass on to the customers the excise benefits that it will gain from the new vehicle being under 4m long. Since it will be a sub-4m vehicle as well as in a very competitive segment, we are expecting a price range of Rs 8 lakh to about Rs 13 lakh.
