Beyond Blue

A third-person diving simulator that makes you slip into the flippers of diver-scientist Mirai to discover secrets of the deep in the Western Pacific. Mirai studies the family of whales, recording their songs and watching their behaviour. It’s one of those rare games that can be educational and relaxing as Mirai interacts with the ocean. Instead of highlighting how we are destroying our oceans, the game awakes our reverence for the sea. The game was made in partnership with BBC, the makers of the iconic Blue Planet, as well as scientists and oceanographers. The game comes with some memorable mini-documentary videos.

Bee Simulator

There’s nothing wrong in becoming a bee?! They make honey and live in cool hives. Players can choose from a range of gaming modes — Collect to Fight, Sting to Dance — and all of them offer family-friendly fun, packed with enough educational content. Lukasz Rosinski, founder of Bee Simulator studio Varsav, has said that the game came alive when he was reading a book about bees to his young daughter. Bees play a very important role in the environment, and we should never underestimate its role as pollinators.

The expansion pack allows players to decorate their homes with upcycled furniture and come up with a wardrobe made from reclaimed materials. You can also install solar panels, wind turbines and dew collectors to produce water and electricity. That’s not all, Eco Lifestyle comes with new clothing, hairstyles, and accessories to make the characters look cool.

Temtem

Get past the similarities you may find with Pokemon, Temtem takes gamers on an exploration of the six islands of the Airborne Archipelago, discovering new species, and making good friends along the way. Players need to find and catch a large collection of creatures, battle other ‘tamers’ on the sandy beaches of Deniz or trade with your friends in Tucma’s ash-covered fields.
