Oh, you leave me so cold. It’s okay

It is freezing and if you happen to have feathers, or things like feathers, it is better to stuff them because stuffed feathers are meant to be warming things

Peacocks shed a tear and a peahen grabs them in her beak, and lo!, more peacocks. Anon

The peacocks have stuffed their backsides with what wares they have to show off at dance and my Mybacks are cold on my ears. Would you hazard a guess what that means? Or relates to? I mean what’s the connection between peacocks stuffing their backsides with their wares and my Mybacks (and do I get the spellings right, I often don’t, but you know which ones I mean) being cold on my ears. They are the best, you see, they are the best steel or platinum or whatever metal it is that the Mybacks folks use but it is a metal and it is cold, and so I have been left a little cold behind my ears and therefore I cannot properly see what the peacocks are doing with their wares stuffed in their backsides. That’s the connection. Now you see! Often people don’t get it, but I am getting it all the time and that is why I am doing what I am doing all the time without caring a hoot or a shoot about whether people are getting what I am getting or they are not getting it. Their loss. That is what it is. If they don’t understand, if they don’t get it, they don’t get it and because they don’t get it, it is their loss.

Oh, that reminds me, the peacocks and their stuffed backsides and the Mybacks cold on my ears. Of course. It is cold. So those peacock wares — the feather-weather things — they have been stuffed for a while because it is cold and peacocks feathers are good if they are stuffed in this weather. It is freezing and if you happen to have feathers, or things like feathers, it is better to stuff them because stuffed feathers are meant to be warming things.

I do not know why I am on peacocks. Or Mybacks, which are cold on my ears as a result of which I cannot see my peacocks in the way I usually see them. All around me. Strutting, like they were on the way to doing something of great import. Like, maybe, shed a tear. And trigger an explosion of peacocks? That’s where they come from, don’t they, these peacocks? From the tears or other peacocks? Peacocks shed a tear and a peahen grabs them in her beak, and lo!, more peacocks. But it’s cold, a tear may be triggered — why not, there’s always something sad and sorry happening that is worth a tear if not more — but it may not come to fall, it may just freeze between the triggering and the falling. Like a glitch, between a prompt not given and a prompt presumed, and a speech becoming a stammer.
