Delhi chief minister and Aam Aaadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday thanked popular singer Zubeen Garg for supporting his government’s development initiatives.
“Thank u @zubeengarg1 If we have to take our beloved country on the path of progress, we MUST tackle health and education in mission mode,” Kejriwal tweeted.
Kejriwal replied to the tweet of popular Bollywood singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani where Dadlani praised Garg.
“Every Indian will eventually see this themselves. My brother @zubeengarg1 is a rare megastar with the standing & courage to say it out loud. Proud of @ArvindKejriwal & #AAP, a story that’s just begun. Bahut aage jaana hai, aur sabko saath le jaana hai. #LageRahoKejriwal,” Dadlani tweeted.
Zubeen praised Kejriwal for the work done by the AAP government in Delhi and reiterated the need of a party like AAP in Assam.
Zubeen tweeted: “When I performed in Delhi, I saw that Kejriwal has done amazing work, people love him in Delhi. Even auto-rickshaw drivers love him and they write I Love Kejriwal behind their vehicles. When I inquired, I came to know that Kejriwal has done lots of development work in sectors of education and health. We need such kind of leaders with a socialist mindset in Assam as well, who have not been found in the BJP, AGP and Congress.”
Zubeen has been in the news of late for his anti-Citizenship Amendment Act stand and also for mobilising support against the law by attending anti-CAA protests in the state.
