Through the song, Mridusmita covered all the key potentials of the flora and fauna of the park, which will be instrumental to create awareness on conservation.

A student of class XI at Kaziranga College, Mridusmita hails from Sepenakubua, a fringe village of Kaziranga.

Born to Dipal Gogoi, a trader and Anjali, a housewife, she is keenly interested in biodiversity conservation. For her dedication, she was declared the brand ambassador of the Assam State Biodiversity Board in 2019.

Park director P. Sivakumar said it would be the theme song of Kaziranga.

“The song which depicts all the major parts of Kaziranga will be good instrument to use for awareness programme,” he said.
