The ambassador of India to Thailand, Suchitra Durai, called on Assam industries and commerce minister Chandra Mohan Patowary here on Wednesday.

They discussed strategies to deepen and strengthen the ties between both the countries.

Patowary highlighted the sea and surface-route connectivity of Assam to Southeast Asian nations.
