A memorandum of understanding was signed on Thursday between National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJA) and The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati (RGU) for academic collaboration between the two institutions.
The MoU for academic collaboration will encompass exchange of students and members of faculty between the two varsities and facilitate other academic activities, research and publication.
Efforts would be made to develop joint training and research programmes that will be pursued in a collaborative spirit, an RGU source said.
The signatories to the MoU were vice-chancellor, RGU, S.P. Singh, and vice-chancellor of NLUJA, J.S. Patil.
Those present were registrar of NLUJA, M. Ahmed, and its senior faculty members besides chairperson (academic) of RGU A.K. Buragohain and its registrar Angira Mimani.
The MoU envisages boosting the academic ambience and performance of RGU.
Another RGU release stated that in view of all examinations being postponed, all undergraduate and postgraduate students of RGU were informed that semester-end examinations have been rescheduled from Monday onwards.
All students were asked to check the RGU website or contact university authorities for examination details.
