Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma gheraoed by protestors outside his office in Tura. Stones pelted at his office while he was inside with the state PHE minister, according to media reports.

Groups have been protesting past several days and demanding Tura be made state’s winter capital. Police reinforcements rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
