As donations in the form of cash and kind continue to pour in from all spheres to support the frontline workers fight the Covid-19 pandemic in Arunachal Pradesh, children from the state are also not far behind when it comes to showing humanitarian gestures.

Setting an example for many to emulate, Kenli Bam, an eight-year-old, on Monday emptied his piggy bank and handed over the money to the West Siang unit of Arunachal Pradesh Doctor’s Association (APDA) for its Masks for All campaign.

Kenli, who studies in Kidzee School, Aalo, in West Siang district, handed over his savings so that the APDA could buy face masks and distribute the same to the needy.

Earlier this month, a four-year-old had emptied her piggy bank to help the frontline workers fight the coronavirus crisis.

Nending Evlyn, from Abotani Colony here, had won the hearts of many after she donated her entire savings for the police personnel.
