Dev Verma requested Tata Trusts for 100 ventilators, 50,000 personal protection equipment, alcohol-based sanitisers, N95 masks and 500 makeshift tents for attending patients, among others.

Tata Trusts adviser for the Northeast Ranjit Barthakur informed Dev Verma that the Tata Group has constituted a special team to activate the special requirements for the country. “Your requests are being processed to the best of the availability of the PPE/other requirements and have been incorporated into the request pool,” he replied.
