Stand out in style with House of Ara’s new Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, ‘Kantha’. This western-wear line seamlessly blends traditional prints and embroidery with contemporary designs, showcasing 13 pieces of exceptional craftsmanship. Championing sustainability and slow fashion, the brand has incorporated Kantha stitch, Ajrakh prints, and leheriya techniques to create an exquisite range.
It takes approximately 2.15 hours to weave one metre of fabric using traditional handloom techniques, and a single handloom can produce only 4-5 metres of fabric per day. Intricate pieces such as skirt and long jacket co-ord sets require over 20 hours of meticulous hand embroidery. Explore more from the collection on their
official website.
