If you are fond of the mystery-thriller genre, Edward
Berger’s upcoming directorial, Conclave, is right up your alley. Based
on the 2016 book by Robert Harris, this film is bringing together the all-star
ensemble of Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow and Isabella Rossellini.
Centred around the conflict a Cardinal finds himself in when he is tasked with
electing the successor to the deceased pope, the film explores a range of
mysteries that could shake the foundations of the Church. Having bagged awards
in numerous film festivals, this film promises to make a searing commentary on
faith, while keeping viewers hooked to the edge of their seats. Don’t forget to
catch it in theatres this November.
